The Kuvings B6000 Whole Slow Juicer is a vertical big mouth masticating juicer. This model has a slow 60 RPM operation and a wide 3-inch feed chute.
In this Kuvings Whole Slow Juicer review, I’ll be sharing the features, specifications and benefits of the juicer, and answering your commonly asked questions about the machine.
60 RPM Speed
Slow juicers operate around 60-80 RPM, making the Kuvings one of the slower masticating juicers available today. Generally, the slower the speed, the more juice can be extracted, so this is great news if you want to get the most value for money from your fruits and veggies.
3-Inch Wide Feed Chute
The 3-inch wide chute is big enough to fit whole ingredients without chopping.
Juice Spout Cap
The smart juice cap lets you mix juices inside the juicer before dispensing them from the juice spout.
Cleaning Tool & Brush
This model comes with tools to make it easier to clean parts like the strainer and the screen – which is important, because the parts aren’t dishwasher-safe.
Durable, BPA-Free Design
The Kuvings is made from durable, BPA-free Tritan ( a type of plastic) that is designed to be easy to clean and built to last.
Blank Screen Attachment
You can use the Kuvings for purposes aside from juicing with the blank screen attachment, which lets you whip up frozen desserts, baby food, nut milk and butter, and more.
Free Included Recipe Book
If you’re new to juicing or you’re just looking for some ideas, this Kuvings model comes with a free recipe book to spark inspiration in the kitchen.
10-Year Limited Warranty
Like the best masticating juicers, the Kuvings juicing machine is backed by an impressive 10-year limited warranty – much better than the warranty of any centrifugal juicer.
🚦 Performance & Noise Output
Like most slow juicers, the Kuvings juicer offers a high performance in terms of juice yield; however, this juicer isn’t designed to produce a glass of juice in a matter of minutes.
As the name suggests, slow juicers operate slowly, methodically squeezing juice from produce and discarding a dry pulp. The Kuvings operates at 60 RPM, making it slow even for a slow juicer. This juicing speed gives vegetables and fruit items an extended contact time with the auger, maximizing juice yield.
The Kuvings juicer is versatile and can handle a wide range of ingredients. However, vertical juice extractors like the Kuvings aren’t as effective at processing leafy greens as horizontal juicers. To prevent blockages, feed stringy, fibrous veggies into the juicer along with hard, thick produce that is easier to process.
With its slow performance, the Kuvings juicer is quiet during operation, and isn’t loud enough to drown out conversation. You can use this juicer early in the morning or late at night without disturbing your neighbors.
👌 Ease of Use
With a 3-inch feed chute that can accommodate large fruit and vegetables, the Kuvings Whole Slow Juicer B6000 Series is easier to use and requires less prep work than some masticating juicers.
You won’t need to chop most produce before feeding it into the juicer, so prep work is minimal. Because the Kuvings Whole Slow Juicer has few parts, assembly takes less than a minute once you know what you’re doing.
The removable components have red dots that need to be lined up when assembling the juicer.
You can use the pusher to help move large produce through the juicer if needed. Just find the dot on the pusher and line it up with the dot on the machine, then press the tool into the chute to encourage produce to catch on the auger’s blades.
The machine’s juice cap makes it easier to mix juices if you want to combine multiple fruits and veggies in a single glass. Additionally, the juicer’s reverse function spins the auger in the opposite direction if the juicer becomes blocked.
🧃 Juice Quality and Yield
The Kuvings Whole Slow Juicer B6000 is one of the best slow juicers on the market, and uses the cold-press method to extract high-quality juice from all types of produce.
The model has a two-step extraction process that squeezes the maximum yield of juice from fruits and vegetables without introducing nutrient-killing heat and oxidation. After the produce is shredded by the blade, it is crushed against the strainer, forcing out the juice.
The leftover pulp is discarded, and juice is expelled from the juice spout, ready for drinking. The juice quality is high, but you might need to strain the juice to remove the pulp or foam, or send it back through the juicer again.
With a slow speed of 60 RPM, the Kuvings Slow Juicer allows fruits and vegetables to have a longer contact time with the auger, giving a good juice yield even from difficult produce, such as leafy greens.
Because the juice from this model is of better quality, you can store it for longer periods compared to juice from centrifugal juicers. It’s still better to drink your juice straight after juicing, as this is when it has the highest nutrient content. However, you can store the juice for up to 72 hours in the refrigerator without it spoiling.
Make sure to store the juice in an airtight storage container to prevent the juice from spoiling faster.
🧽 Cleaning & Maintenance
Cleaning the Kuvings B6000 is relatively easy, but you’ll need to put in the majority of the work yourself. The removable parts in this juicer aren’t dishwasher-safe, so they will require hand-washing.
Once you’ve got the hang of it, cleaning the Kuvings Whole Slow Juicer is a quick job. There are only a few parts to disassemble, and the included cleaning tool makes it easy to clean the mesh strainer.
Also included are cleaning brushes that can be used to clean the smaller components. Washing the removable parts with soapy water should remove the built-up pulp.

❔ Frequently Asked Questions
What Safety Setting Does the Kuvings Whole Slow Juicer B6000 Have?
The Kuvings Whole Slow Juicer has a dual safety system that causes the model to switch off before it overheats. This model also has an interlocking pulp container that prevents the juicer from switching on until the container is properly in place.
What Kinds of Produce Can the Kuvings Whole Slow Juicer B6000 Process?
All kinds of produce can be processed in the Kuvings juicer. The wide feed chute fits whole apples and pears, and the slow masticating process can squeeze juice from hard and soft fruits and veggies, including leafy greens.
Examples of hard produce that can be juiced in the Kuvings machine are celery, carrots, beets, apples, ginger, watermelon, pineapple, and broccoli.
Soft produce that can be pureed in the Kuvings are grapes, peach, avocado, mango, strawberries, tomatoes, blackberries, and kiwifruit. Citrus fruit including lemon, lines, oranges and mandarins can also be processed in the Kuvings machine.
Additionally, the machine can process leafy greens like cabbage, basil, lettuce, spinach, kale, wheatgrass, and beet greens.
Can the Kuvings Be Used for Non-Juicing Purposes?
Yes. As well as making juice, you can use this juicer for making almond milk and soy milk. It can also be used to make sorbets and nut butters with its blank screen attachment. You don’t get this versatility with a centrifugal juicer, or even most vertical masticating juicers.
Is the Kuvings B6000 Worth the Money?
In my opinion, yes, based on what I’ve learned when producing this review. The Kuvings is versatile and efficient, yielding a high quantity of nutritious juice. This machine is the only Kuvings vertical masticating juicer to have an attachment for non-juicing purposes.
However, just because the Kuvings is a good juicer, it might not be right for you. For instance, if you plan to juice a lot of leafy greens, you’ll be better off with a horizontal, twin-gear masticating juicer.
Additionally, if you want to get fast access to juice, the Kuvings juicer isn’t the juicer for you. It’s worth looking at a centrifugal juicer if speed is an important factor of a juicer for you. Of course, fast juicers cause heat build-up and oxidation, which affects the quality of the juice.
